I fancy myself as someone who can create specialty cocktails. My husband has been known to roll his eyes as various sticky and alcoholic substances dot our kitchen counters as the result of my endeavors. Our butcher block could serve as empirical proof that Campari does indeed stain. Sigh.
Mostly my concoctions are awful, but not this one. The Hawksmopolitan is good!
So here is the recipe (lady-like size):
1 ounce Uncle Val's gin
1/2 ounce St. Germain
1/4 ounce Blue Curacao
the juice of 1/2 a lime
a drop of orange bitters is nice if you have it
Shake with ice and strain into a nice glass, then top up with prosecco or champagne.

Update: I have had a number of people express interest in more Hawks cocktails. I have promised to have a full array for next season. So prepare yourself for the Twelfth Manhattan and the Beast Royale. And maybe even the Boomarita!
